2013, 2014 WA90, 2015 JS93

Reserve de la Comtesse 2007, 2010, 2011, 2014

Reserve de la Comtesse 2007 - "The second wine, the 2007 Reserve de Comtesse, is a lighter, but equally soft and approachable version of the grand vin. Already evolved, it is a round, plump, delicious Pauillac to enjoy over the next 7-8 years. Drink 2010-2018."

Reserve de la Comtesse 2010 - "Very polished tannins that caress the palate. Full body. It's fruity, pretty and refined. The mineral and berry character comes through in a subtle way. Second wine of Pichon Lalande. Better in 2016." - James Suckling: 91pts

Reserve de la Comtesse 2014 - "The 2014 Réserve de la Comtesse has a slightly meaty/dried blood scented bouquet that lacks the delineation and charm of Tourelles de Longueville. The palate is medium-bodied with firm tannin, austere but there is a decent line of acidity and sufficient fruit on the finish to maintain balance. It just lacks excitement and a sense of energy. Tasted blind at the annual Southwold tasting. 2020 - 2032" - Neal Martin, Wine Advocate: 90pts

Reserve de la Comtesse 2015 - "This is an impressive second wine. It shows a lot of vibrant red berries, blackberries and darker plum fruits. The palate is impressive for the vibrant and lively acidity cast amid sturdy but supple tannins. Second wine from Pichon-Lalande. Try from 2021." - James Suckling: 93pts
